Acceptance and service status

By using ZhuZheng, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy and Data Processing Notice and the Refund Policy. ZhuZheng is currently an MVP. Features, availability, support scope, and retention rules can change. Public paid features are not open yet; this section will be updated when they are.

What you may upload

Upload only recordings or videos you have the right to process, and take responsibility for any necessary notice, consent, or other lawful basis for people included in them. Do not use the service for unlawful content, content that infringes another person's rights, or, without a written arrangement, data requiring special protection or specific data residency.

Transcription and use limits

The service produces machine transcripts, timestamps, and possible speaker labels. Results can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable; verify them before relying on, publishing, or using them for an important decision. The service is not a substitute for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical use.

Minute packs, validity, and payment

When paid minute packs become available, minutes are purchased as one-time packs and are valid for the period stated at checkout (90 days for current packs). Unused minutes expire at the end of that period without refund; used minutes are not refundable. Minutes are non-transferable. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider; by purchasing you authorize the charge and agree to the provider's terms. Applicable taxes are shown before you confirm checkout. If you dispute a charge, contact us within 60 days of the charge date through a support ticket. The refund policy is described in the Refund Policy.

AI processing and third-party services

Transcription is performed by third-party AI and cloud services, including AssemblyAI for speech recognition. Audio and job data needed for the task are transferred to these providers and may be processed outside Taiwan. The Privacy and Data Processing Notice describes the data flow. We do not promise a specific data residency; if you require a data-processing agreement or residency guarantee, contact us for a written arrangement before uploading.

Retention, deletion, and billing

Active tasks remain until you request deletion in the workspace; the MVP has no automatic expiry period. Deletion runs in the background and removes source objects, provider jobs, and transcript content while retaining a minimal operational/deletion receipt without transcript content. Minutes can be reserved before processing; failed or uncompleted deleted tasks release minutes under the service rules. Public payments and live charges are not open yet.

Account and support

Keep your sign-in credentials secure and report unauthorized use promptly. For data requests, support, or objections, sign in and contact us through a support ticket. Do not attach unnecessary source recordings or sensitive information to a ticket.

Suspension, changes, and responsibility

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect the service or users or to comply with law. You are responsible for claims and losses arising from your breach of these Terms or law, or from your use infringing another person's rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as-is; we do not guarantee transcription accuracy, uninterrupted service, or a particular data location. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. If these Terms change materially, we will update the date on this page and provide an in-service notice where appropriate.

General terms

These Terms and the other policies form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with adjusting the service. Rights not expressly granted are reserved. The policies apply alongside these Terms on their subject matter; on conflict, the policy specific to that subject prevails.
